Data license

All session data contributed to Local Level Lab, meaning the session zips (the raw sensor streams and manifests) and their index, is dedicated to the public domain under Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal: https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/

Contributors agree to this when they upload, and every manifest records "data_license": "CC0-1.0". Anyone may download, reanalyze, republish or criticise the data for any purpose, without asking.

The software (app, server, analysis) is licensed separately under the GNU AGPL v3 (see LICENSE).

The bundled OpenFlights airline directory is separately licensed under ODbL-1.0. Its README records provenance and attribution, with the upstream license alongside it. It is not part of the CC0 recording dataset. Third-party flight tracks retain their source terms too; supplying a track for checking or recovery does not make it CC0 through the session's license declaration. Preserve source and provenance separately.
